At the forefront of service delivery to individuals, families and communities, TCS is seeking a skilled, experienced and self-directed manager to assist in the development of a staffed-home program for individuals with complex health care needs and developmental disabilities.

Duties include:

• Leading a team of staff members working in community, residential and/or community-based programming;
• Developing residential /community activities and opportunities to enhance the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities; and,
• Participating in a client centered planning process for individuals; and
• Managing a residential home.

To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate extensive experience as a Community Service Worker in a residential and/or community setting. Supervisory experience, mediation and advocacy skills are an asset. You must have a sincere commitment to providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Previous work in a medical background is an asset

As the successful candidate, you will be an excellent interpersonal communicator and able to maintain a flexible schedule as necessary. You will also be a team player that this is able to build relationships with individuals, families, staff members, employers and government ministries and organizations.

This position is based in Prince George. A personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are required. Starting wage is $27.21/hour. Position is open until filled.
