This role manages the RFP identification, completion, and submission process, from end-to-end which includes managing the RFP team throughout intake, prioritization and completion of proposals, ensuring high quality proposal processes and submission. This position will work closely with the Sales team and is responsible for establishing standardized RFP format(s), content management solutions best practices and delivering consistent results following company brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Management of the full-cycle proposal process including development, strategy and delivery of pursuits or projects deemed strategic.
  • Management and oversight of complex RFPs including defining value proposition, interpreting requirements, establishing project schedule, assigning tasks and providing support to the team to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to capture plans, benefits, solutions and proof into proposals, and deliver proposals on time that are compliant, clear, and compelling.
  • Manage, coach, and lead the RFP team in writing complex technical concepts into narratives that can be understood by non-technical audiences.
  • Develop effective and accurate metrics and reporting to analyze KPIs, ROI, team utilization, etc.
  • Build and strengthen proposal capabilities and processes by understanding proposal best practices and guidelines including readability, consistency, tone and frameworks.
  • Entering and monitoring accurate tracking data, articulating requirements with contributors, contributing proposal status information to review meetings, and transmitting proposals.
  • Manage and develop direct reports through coaching, mentorship, performance management, setting expectations etc.
Requirement:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technical RFP writing, in the technology industry along with in-depth knowledge interpreting RFPs, creating responses and proposals.
  • Knowledge or experience with US healthcare (US Payer and Provider) is preferred.
  • Post secondary education in a related area of study such as business or communication is preferred or the equivalent amount of experience to demonstrate the required level of competency.
  • High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational skills. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment of growth and change.
  • Ability to work on multiple proposals simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities, strong time management skills, resource(s) planning, goal(s) and objective(s) setting, and organize tasks.
  • Demonstrated people or team management skills.
  • Exceptional technical skills using cloud-based tools and Google Suite with proficiency in converting documents from Google to other formats like Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Solutions-oriented with excellent critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions and work well in a team environment.
  • Experience implementing a content management solution, preferred.
