Manufacturing Assembler Job at Nova Staffing Inc
Our client in the Brampton area (Goreway and Queen St E) is looking for Assemblers.
Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday
Pay: $20/hr
For the right Candiate, the client will hire on after 3-4 months. You must be on a valid work permit.
If you are Mechanically inclined and have experience with Hand and Power tools this job is for you.
You must have at least 2 years Manufacturing Assembly experience
Job duties:
Ensure Selection of proper Components Complete Assembly of components to customer specifications
Performs testing of assembled valves and keeping proper records
Package assembled valves for shipping
Material Handling of components as needed
Follow standard work practice-method sheet and instructions
Follow lean Manufacturing Process and FEM requirements
Report to the supervisor of any damages or malfunctions of the equipment's and tools
Ensure use of appropriate safety equipment
Maybe able to lift upto 50lbs when necessary.
Requirements
Knowledge of General Assembly and Testing
Ability to read blueprints/drawings and following engineering instructions
Ability to use general Assembly tools - Impact gun, Torque wrench
Ability to use of measuring equipment including Vernier caliper
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
