Exceldor Cooperative, an Award-Winning, long-standing company seeks a Communications & Marketing Advisor to join our team in our Winnipeg location!

Reporting to the Director of Communication & Marketing located in our head office in Levis, Quebec, you will be responsible for:

-Working with corporate office to develop a communication plan to grow Exceldor
Cooperative’s corporate brand awareness & promote cooperative values in various
Manitoba communities, including Winnipeg.

-Develop and oversee various projects related to the marketing of existing & new products
to ensure project timetables are met or exceeded.

-Work with Corporate to develop media & community events representing all brands
promoted by Exceldor Cooperative.

-Develop and manage various projects related to the design and delivery of marketing
material for the launch of new products and promotion of the brands, including working
with our product development team.

-Research and monitor marketing activities by competitors and communicate findings to
the Director and/or Product Managers.

-Development and maintenance of our website, FaceBook, YouTube, Instagram, Google Ad
Words accounts, consumer data base and other online communication strategies to
ensure continuing access by the consumer market.

-Responsible to manage the marketing budget, review and approve all invoices from
suppliers.

-Partnership with the Sales Department including but not limited to sell sheets, collateral
material, promotional items, and product demonstrations.

Qualifications:

· Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in delivering direct and / or interactive marketing
programs, preferably in the food industry.

· Communications or Marketing Degree from a recognized University or College.

· Must believe in the cooperative values and willingness to increase the Company’s brand
awareness through various community implications.

· Must be able to work independently and can make decisions.

· Strong organization and time management skills.

· Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentations).

· Web site management skills (knowledge of HTML coding would be an asset.)

· An interest in developing a greater expertise in their profession and expanding their
responsibilities beyond their current role.

· Demonstrated working style that is aligned with the Company’s core values and culture.

· Bilingual is considered an asset but not required.

· Must have own transportation.

· Ability to work flexible hours when required for Company events/initiatives.
