Marketing Assistant/Photographer – Automotive

The Marketing Assistant/Inventory Photographer position supports the marketing manager to promote the dealership and increase brand awareness within the local market through digital and traditional marketing channels. The individual will create compelling social media content, assist with the development of marketing campaigns, and support planning and execution of all promotional activities and events. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the dealership’s online vehicle inventory merchandising, specifically capturing high-quality photographs and videos of new and pre-owned inventory.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement engaging social media content and maintain social media platforms daily.

· Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the impact of campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Help manage and maintain online inventory presence on dealership website as well as third-party websites, including capture, edit and upload high-quality for all new and pre-owned inventory photos and videos.

· Identify trends in the market and key opportunities for innovation for all departments of the dealership (sales, parts, service, finance, etc.)

· Support marketing team to develop collaboration opportunities in the community and local automotive industry.

· Assist with promotional activities and special events.

· Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, advertising, marketing, communications, or other related field(s).
• Hands-on experience managing multiple social media platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Understanding of social media best practices.
• Demonstrate strong editorial judgement and writing ability.
• Ability to quickly craft compelling and creative copy that drives social media engagement in local community and automotive industry.
• Must be up to date with current trends in social media and be personally active in the space.
• High level of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be comfortable behind the camera but willing to be the star of creative content.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to confidently drive high end and oversized vehicles.
• Double vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $15.50 per hour
