As a national, non-profit organization and Canada's first and longest-standing credit counselling agency, Credit Canada has helped thousands avoid bankruptcy, become debt-free, and achieve financial wellness.

Last year, we assisted approximately 70,000 consumers through our credit counselling and educational services, which are available to all Canadians regardless of income level or employment status. Now, and into the near future, many Canadians will need credit counselling services that put their best interests first, and we're stepping up to answer the call.

Job Responsibilities:

As Marketing Manager, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and:

  • Lead Credit Canada's brand building efforts, coming up with new and exciting marketing ideas that deliver on our mission, and drive revenue to fund our programs
  • Lead the creation and execution of both marketing collateral and personal finance content, collaborating with our Digital Marketing team, our Education team, multiple vendors, external partners, staff, and agencies
  • Investigate and recommend how to respond to customers and their current and future needs while also monitoring the competition
  • Support the digital team in a website refresh
  • Develop and execute regional/market-specific campaigns, both online and offline.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners leading to greater engagement from the stakeholder community
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns with debriefs and assess outcomes against goals (ROAS, ROI and KPIs)

Qualifications/Skills :

You are:

  • A creative marketer with a passion for brand building
  • A proven innovator who embraces change; seeks out new ideas, learning and opportunities
  • Externally focused, make breakthrough connections and initiate change
  • A strategic thinker who has an exceptional ability to find meaningful connections and integrate learning to help drive brand direction
  • A top-notch communicator, including strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Personable and able to work successfully in a team environment

You have:

  • Impeccable time management, organizational and planning skills
  • A detail-oriented approach with an ability to work under pressure

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience in brand marketing, either client-side or agency
  • Bachelor's degree or college certificate
  • Experience and expertise in managing people and providing strategic thinking and direction
  • Interest/experience in personal finance is a plus.

Dates, Work Hours & Location:

Dates: Start dates are negotiable.

Hours: Monday-Friday, hours are flexible.

Location: Credit Canada is a "remote-friendly-hybrid" organization with the flexibility for people to work from home 4 days a week, but the requirement to be at the office (Yonge & Sheppard) one day a week to foster collaboration.
