NASS is urgently hiring Shipper/Material handler for a plastic Manufacturing company in Orangeville.
Job Title : Shipper/Material Handler
Pay : $ 20 to $22/ hour
Shift Requirements :
- Day Shift : 06 am to 2.30 pm & Afternoon Shift : 02.30 pm to 11 pm ( Rotational every two weeks)
- 1 Saturday day shift every 4 – 5 weeks
Job Duties:
- Pick, package, wrap, and strap customer orders
- Receive incoming goods
- Prepare shipping documents
- Perform inventory and cycle counts
- Conduct general warehouse activities, including cleaning and organizing
- Communicate with other shippers in the department on different shifts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including workstations, floors, and tools
- Ensure all work is performed according to procedures and work instructions
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Enforce all quality system procedures and work instructions
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience in packaging, palletizing, and skid wrapping
- Forklift experience and valid license (Counterbalance)
- Basic computer skills with data entry experience and use of handheld scanners
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift items weighing over 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow workflow and schedules
- Above team average attendance
