BATTLE RIVER SCHOOL DIVISION is seeking applications for the following:
POSITION: Full-Time Temporary Teacher - 1.00 FTE
LOCATION: Daysland School - Daysland, Alberta
INTENT: Next school year 2023-24, there is a need for aFull-Time Temporary Teacher (1.0) at Daysland School to fill a leave. This position will include Math 20, Math/Science 9 and Elementary subjects as assigned, commencing on August 29, 2023.
This position is open to Internal and External Candidates
The ideal candidate will:
● Have knowledge and / or experience in the areas of outcomes-based design, assessment for learning, differentiated instruction and inclusive learning environments
● A strong background in elementary literacy and numeracy
● Excel with technology and 21st century learning
● Be dynamic, energetic and passionate about working with students
● Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relational skills with students and be willing and able to collaborate with staff on a daily basis
● Possess excellent classroom management skills
● A background in both elementary and secondary education would be an asset
● Indicate a willingness and ability to be involved in extracurricular activities and all aspects of the overall school program
