Mechanical Planner Job at Fluor Driver
Job Overview
The Mechanical Planner reports to and takes direction from the Department Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for walking down work notifications, creating scoping sheets, and developing plans for maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of the functional operation of various piping systems and requirements of general maintenance
- Builds relationships inside and outside of the organization and is collaborative in building partnerships
- Determines and coordinates resource requirements for general maintenance activities
- Effectively manages the work schedule
- Ensures the necessary information is included in work packages and work with developing work orders with the clients
- Ensures all paperwork is accurate and complete
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Interprovincial Red Seal or a Journeyman Pipefitter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work for a long duration of time.
- Must be able to perform duties at heights.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to work in a live plant environment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
Position Details
- Shift Rotation: 5/2
- Duration: 6 months
- Project site located in Camrose, Alberta
- Living out allowance will be provided
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
