Currently, we are seeking Mechanized Bolters to join our growing team in the Sudbury Basin and Timmins, ON. The key responsibilities of the Mechanized Bolters include but not limited to:

• Performing pre-operational inspections and ensuring safe operation of mechanized bolting equipment
• All development and rehab tasks related to mechanized bolting
• Reporting any safety concerns or unsafe conditions
• Assisting with other support duties such as mechanical installations; maintenance of air, water and ventilation; and ground support

Qualifications

• Must have Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000 to U0012) or equivalent provincial designation
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanized bolter
• Previous experience with MacLean series bolters or Atlas Copco Boltec is preferred
• Ability to read mine plans and specifications for underground mining
• Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
• Must be willing to work at any of the underground mine sites that Technica operates at
