Medical Office Assistant Job at TESS
We are looking for dedicated and responsible students who are interested in volunteering in an academic medical practice over the summer. This is a non-profit specialists' clinic affiliated with the University Health Network. We are looking for bright/motivated/enthusiastic students to work min 3 days a week/8 hours a day.
Responsibilities will include administrative duties (answering phones, processing referrals, helping with surgery scheduling). We will also teach you how perform diagnostic testing.
You will get to interact with patients, medical students, residents, fellows and academic physicians and get a good grip on what medical practice is like.
Successful applicants will have a unique opportunity to not only contribute to the care of and form meaningful relationships with diverse patient populations, but also gain invaluable communication, teamwork, and leadership skills whilst working alongside experienced physicians and medical staff.
