What You'll Do

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll be a key resource for the business to manage current and developing client relationships while managing the day to day business of the meters in the designated parking locations within your portfolio. You'll work along side a team of professionals to improve each location's operational excellence while fostering superior service to our Clients and Customers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the Department to reflect accurately the goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Collaborate with maintenance department to complete work orders and provide coverage when necessary.
  • Ensure department standards as set out by the company are adhered to daily (i.e., attire, grooming, customer relations, etc.).
  • Achieve monthly budgets, forecasts and operational goals.
  • Manage employee selection including interviewing, hiring and orientation for all new hires within department.
  • Optimizing employee efficiency to maintain equipment at an exceptional level of operations.
  • Maintain employee databases with accurate information.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and correct performance problems as necessary.
  • Responsible for providing to staff members all equipment and tools necessary to be able to perform their duties in the safest, most convenient manner possible with personal safety a priority.
  • Maintain department data integrity programs, manage dashboards for reporting to Senior management.
  • Develop and maintain relations with Account Managers, REEF Branches, vendors, and external clients.
  • Support the accounting department of meter revenue postings for accuracy and review of variances.
  • Collect and process any information gathered by meter technicians in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that meter out of order complaints are maintained at an absolute minimal level.
  • Manage branch parking equipment including collection, repair, upgrade, installation, removal, and programming.
  • Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies, manage meter part repair depot.
  • Process meter department work orders.
  • Coordinate security measures and provide police reports following meter break-ins or damages.
  • Manage vehicle fleets including lease returns, mileage management, repairs & maintenance, recall/warranty repairs.
  • Must be able to occasionally work after hours and on weekends.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Complete special projects as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Want From You:

  • Minimum Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in operational management with evidence of increasing responsibility/promotion to higher levels of impact. You are an experienced operator looking for the next level of responsibility and autonomy.
  • Previous P&L ownership over a fast-paced business with familiarity and comfort with the numbers of the business. You use data and analytics to challenge assumptions and drive your decision making.
  • Oversight experience of large, dispersed operations spanning multiple sites/entities to include different businesses/diverse revenue streams. You are comfortable with complexity, managing teams and accomplishing objectives through others.
  • Previous experience interacting across multiple functions and with various organizational stakeholders. You understand it takes a team to grow a business.
  • Proven judgement in the hiring process and a discerner of talent. You are a builder of teams.
