Millwork Finisher Job at Zone Placements
We are looking for a full-time skilled Millwork Finisher. This individual must possess good communication skills. We are looking to hire a skilled wood finisher to shape, finish, and restore our customers' products. As a wood finisher, you will be required to examine the product, identify damaged areas, disassemble the basic parts, and smooth or shape the wood. You will also be required to apply finishing lubricants to achieve the desired color and design.

Skill Requirements:
- Apply spray finishes using air-assistant equipment
- Apply oil-based stains, NGR shading, and/or water-based stains
- Prepare samples for required finishes
- Removing old finishings and excess solvent.
- Sanding and smoothing the item in preparation for finishing.
- Selecting and applying finishing lubricants such as varnish, stains, or shellac.
- Replacing or refurbishing upholstery.
Experience:
- 3-5 years or more of work experience as a wood finisher
- Attention to detail.
- Speak English
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Punctual with a positive attitude and willingness to work
- Good housekeeping skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
