Our Place Peel is seeking a highly organized, professional, and passionate Program Manager for the nCourage Hub.


We are seeking an individual who will provide leadership, support, coordination of services and provide project management for the collaborative hub. The nCourage Manager will maintain and build strong pathways with community and committee partners. They will work collaboratively to address barriers and advocate for best practices and special considerations for victims and survivors of sexual exploitation in Peel. This is a concentrated effort to evaluate and improve access to services, foster human trafficking (HT) system collaboration and address barriers to services.


Role Overview


Responsibilities

  • Trauma informed leader, will support the professional growth and development of the team, and integrates a strength-based client-centered care approach into daily
  • Manage the daily operations of the hub, maintains pathways to services, and relationships with ongoing services partners to continuously address gaps and barriers to accessing service.
  • Support in the coordination and development of service pathways and partnerships to maintain and develop the services and resources (care path) to ensure up-to-date services and supports are readily available for victims and survivors.
  • Participates in community tables, and provides consultation to partner’s questions and inquiries.
  • Organize, coordinate and facilitate committee meetings, task forces and planning tables with agencies to address gaps, barriers and/or issues impacting victims and survivors..
  • Lead and support the Client Navigator and Female Mobile Support Team to address barriers and gaps.
  • Facilitate the collection and reporting of data, outcomes, community stories and other relevant information, while maintaining up-to-date electronic files.
  • Compile statistical information and prepare monthly reports as required for program evaluation and development.
  • Communicate information, reports, charts/tables, care path updates and important community events to partners.
  • Supervise and lead employees in implementing goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent in a related social services field. Masters in a relative field is considered an asset.
  • 3 years of experience working with marginalized populations.
  • Experience in project management across the human services sector, supporting program development, and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of services for HT victims and survivors and the Social Service System in the Peel.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to engage and collaborate with service providers to advocate for support to survivors facing complex
  • Strong computer and database management skills.
  • Experience in recruiting and supervising program staff.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing leadership to the staff team.
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check and Vulnerable position that meets the standards of the agency's.
  • A valid Ontario Driver’s License, access to a vehicle and $2,000,000 (minimum) liability car insurance coverage.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to applicable legislation.
