The position at a glance

The Network Security Manager lead the Network Security team and ensure proper deliveries of the activities for AMER Region (RTB and CTB).

The Network Security Manager reports directly to the Head of AMER Production Security, and work in close relationship with the other Managers within Production Security, regionally and globally, as well as Network teams.

The Network Security Manager must possess an excellent knowledge of BNPP Network, the Security and Network technologies in place, and the Group Norms and Standards.


In detail

  • Leading the Network Security team:
    • Team member follow-up (hiring, evaluation, goal setup, evolution…)
    • Define a Roadmap for the activities
  • Ensure Operational activities on the Security tools in the perimeter
    • Ensure BAU tasks are performed (incl. but not limited to Network Security tool management, Flow approval, Flow review, Network Design review…)
    • Ensure Continuous Improvement activities are performed
  • Conduct transformation project on Network Security domain
    • Ensure Network Security project are driven properly (in particular S&T/CyberSecurity related projets)
    • Contribute to Network project impacting Security (in particular, Group Telecom project)
    • Ensure alignment of Network Security team with the TOM of Production Security
  • Collaborate with other Production team, Central IT Risks, Cyber Security team on Network Security topic
    • Ensure close collaboration with iNet and Network Operations teams
    • Have regular follow-up and alignment meeting with Central (Group, Global) Production Security teams
    • Ensure CyberSecurity requirements are understood and adequately implemented
  • Contribute to internal and external audit requests


The strengths and skills that will help you succeed

  • 10+ years’ experience in IT
  • 2+ years people management experience
  • Bachelor Degree in IT preferred
  • Deep knowledge of BNP Network (WIN…)
  • Deep knowledge of Network Security (in general, and within BNP Paribas)
  • Functional as well as technical knowledge of the applications used within BNP Paribas
  • Knowledge of the Norms and Standards of the BNP Paribas Group
  • Solid knowledge in change management principles and techniques
  • Able to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required
