We are presently searching for our next talented team member as a Night Patrol & Collections Attendant to join our Park Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

  • Clean and maintain parks facilities according to BC Parks standards (including but not limited to pit toilets, garbage bins, campsites, picnic tables, firepits communal areas, wash houses, and shower stalls).
  • Emptying garbage and recycling bins.
  • Collection of parks fees, firewood sales, register campers.
  • Patrol Resort, Campsite and Day Use Areas of E.C. Manning Park.
  • Complete end of shift duties; balancing deposit, completion of logbooks, submitting deposit for safekeeping).
  • Liaise with BC Parks information services to inform them on campground occupancies and vacancies.
  • Provide site security and enforcement of Park policies; report incidents and occurrences efficiently to lead hand, supervisor, or manager.
  • Ensure elevated levels of customer service; provide campers with information on park activities (hiking, fishing, canoeing).
  • Respond to campers' inquiries and provide assistance when required.
  • Represent BC Parks and Manning Park Resort in a professional manner.
  • Record and report traffic counter results and park stats.
  • Equipment inspection and maintenance.
  • Other tasks as required.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Available to work flexible hours, night shift role. 32-40hrs per week.
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Basic First Aid Certification. (8hrs) is an asset
  • Previous experience handling money and record keeping.
  • Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check.
  • Minimum of a Class 5 driver's license required.
  • Experience with landscaping and working with power tools an asset.
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment as both an individual and team player.
  • Value safe working practices.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English.


This is a Seasonal Position so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Summer Season (May-October)
