St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) is currently recruiting for an internship position with the Centre for Applied Health Research. The Research Intern will be involved in all areas of the research cycle, including: data collection, management, analysis, and reporting; application of relevant and appropriate methodology to the research process; and dissemination activities including report, manuscript, or presentation preparation. This role will provide a recent graduate with the opportunity to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired through their post-secondary education, while gaining valuable experience.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
  • Degree in relevant discipline (psychology, etc.)

Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to complete detail-oriented work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills (experience with statistical software an asset)
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as within a team

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
