Outside Sales Representative

The Job Description

● Become a product expert in the fields of wine and beer, able to offer advice and support and to better relate to your customers.

● Cold call and prospect to generate new leads at licenced establishments across the Southwestern Ontario region stretching from Windsor to Woodstock, Sarnia, and the rural region above.

● Curate relationships with owners, operators, serving staff, and related industry participants. Build brand awareness within the industry.

● Generate opportunities with decision makers to sample parts of the product assortment they are interested in.

● Build a strong portfolio of customers purchasing the represented products.

● Build contacts and sell products into corporate opportunities for holiday gifting and special occasions.

● Learn about and understand the competitive landscape, bringing market intelligence on pricing, consumer taste, and new trends back to the respective manufacturers.

● When trade shows begin again post COVID restrictions – attend and represent at related trade shows to build new trade contacts.

Compensation

● Ownership of your own cell phone is required – a phone allowance is part of the compensation.

● Ownership and use of your own automobile is required – a car allowance is part of the compensation.

● The compensation involves a base salary with commissions paid on products sold.

● The first six months have a guaranteed commission structure to get you started.

Bayside Brewing’s waterfront location is a popular gathering spot year round to enjoy craft beers, our partners wines and alcohol beverage products. Our down to earth culture is inspired by Rondeau Bay, the Great Lakes and the charm of Erieau. Our brands have been recognized as top beer brands amongst the craft brewing industry and consumers. We have resolve: we work hard; we have a dedicated team of people raising the bar to ensure our customers are delighted with our products and service

● Have a flexible schedule – your customers don’t operate on a 9 to 5 M-F and this job doesn’t either. You’ll need to be available when your customers are to make the sales.

● High school diploma required but College/University Degree is an asset.

● 3+ Years of Outside sales experience

● Hold a valid G license and are able to spend time in the car driving within the territory.

● Ownership of a car and a clean driving record.

● You are a self-motivated individual that will continually improve within the job and beyond. An independent worker that thinks outside of the box. Obsessed with results and getting it done right the first time

● Able to lift 40 lbs comfortably to manage cases of wine or beer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $40,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
