THE OPPORTUNITY
Working with a team of experienced retail professionals to support our clients and partners through a 9 month renovation in North Montreal, QC. MCA offers unique work while allowing you to gain valuable experience. This position also comes with a great opportunity to join new and exciting projects throughout the year.
WAGE: $20/hr
HOURS: Full-Time (40 Hours per week)
SHIFTS: 9:00PM to 7:00AM, Monday through Thursday
DATES: March 27th, 2023 to January 11th, 2024
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating as a cohesive unit led by our Team Lead, our Fixture Installation team will work closely together throughout the duration of the project.
Fixture Building
- Read and interpret floor plans for installation and placement of various store fixtures
- Safely receive and unload retail store fixture shipments
- Deconstruct, move and build/place retail store fixtures
- Utilization of hand and construction tools
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are reliable, turning up each night and working safely alongside the team to deliver quality work. You are fun to be around, self-motivated and take pride in your work. You communicate with the Team Lead, bringing issues and possible solutions to their attention. A successful team member is always organized and maintains a professional and calm demeanor.
- Previous experience in construction or Merchandising is preferred.
- Previous experience using small hand tools is preferred
- A real team player with strong communication skills
- Exceptionally punctuality
- Able to lift up-to 40+ pounds
