Job description

Primary Responsibilities

Patient transfer attendants are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence, while providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements

Must be able to read and communicate in English effectively.
High School Diploma or proof of Post Secondary Education.

MUST HAVE

Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C)

ability to obtain emergency first responder upgrade immediately which will be reimbursed by company

Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays and outside regular hours of operation, up to 13 hours in a shift.

Valid G class driving license.
Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
Posses clean driving record and provide a copy for personal file.
Must provide a copy of a Police Vulnerable Sector check.
Current immunization records

Candidates must be willing to travel to Wasaga Beach to start their day.
