Responsibilities


The Role:


PepsiCo Beverages Canada is in search of a Payroll Administrative Assistant to support our Calgary & Lethbridge team by providing accurate payroll administration and general office support for the Calgary location in a highly responsible and confidential manner. The successful candidate is detail orientated, possesses strong technical skills, thrives on working in a fast paced and challenging atmosphere with a large amount of responsibility and portrays a professional demeanor. The position is located in Calgary, AB.


What you’ll be working on:

  • Timecard review, verification and adjustments for multiple departments within two locations; ensuring weekly payroll accuracy
  • Generate and facilitate review of CCO, CATS report weekly (adhere to and ensure all Compliance Controls are followed)
  • Become the subject matter expert and executer of payroll intricacies included in the local Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Facilitate tracking of probationary hours, pay progression, premium payments, etc. and make adjustments as needed
  • Track and flag sick, vacation and banked overtime hours to departments leaders
  • Invoice payment and tracking
  • Assist in local event planning and coordination
  • Some general office support

Qualifications


Who’s a good fit for the team:

  • High School diploma required
  • Some level of Post-Secondary education preferred
  • 3+ years of Payroll experience required
  • 2+ years of administrative experience preferred
  • Ability/Flexibility to work non-standard hours, as needed
  • Approachable & willing to help others
  • Technical competence and analytical ability
  • Must be able to lead and complete projects as assigned
  • Must be able to assume responsibilities outside the core responsibilities of the position
