Payroll Administrator Job at Altis Recruitment

Our client in the real estate sector is currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis for a 2 1/2-month contract with potential to go longer term. This role will be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare adjustment and entries for employment offers, bonus payments and additional employee transactions;
  • Audit payroll and maintain payroll records;
  • Prepare and submit journal entries, calculate and prepare cheques, complete forms such as Records of Employment, Government Requests and more;
  • Payroll Inquiries and assist with resolution of payroll issues;
  • Reports and prepare summaries;
  • Assist with payroll related projects;
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Active member of CPA, payroll designation preferred;
  • Experience with ADP Pay@work,Workforce Now, Workday is an asset;
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
