The Peel Halton Soccer Association is the largest not‐for‐profit corporation comprised of a community of clubs,
academies, leagues, players, administrators, coaches and volunteers. Our mission is to provide opportunities for
any person in Peel Halton to participate in organized soccer and Futsal in any role of their choosing and to assist all
participants in reaching their potential within a well‐managed, cooperative and progressive soccer environment.

The positions (2) is part of the Canada Job Summer jobs Program with funding provided by Service Canada.

Reporting to the PHSA Board of Directors, the successful candidate will bring strong customer service skills,
coupled with administrative experience to serve and foster a positive working relationship with staff, membership
of the District.

Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:

Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
Placement is full time only (35 hours per week) for 12 weeks
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person on whom refugee protections has been conferred
under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

Legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations

(International students on a work/study permit are not eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs
Program)



Principle Responsibilities

Customer Service ‐ Answering the phone, responding to emails, inputting registrations and directing to the
appropriate staff member regarding the program,

Assist with League Administration ‐ Festivals weekends as required
Support social media management
Contributes and provides support when needed for District events



Qualifications

Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS office and social media
Ability to accurately follow instruction and pay attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and able to get along with colleagues
Ability to work independently and on weekends on Field as needed
