We are seeking a reliable and responsible Pet Care Professional to join our team and provide top-notch care for our clients' pets. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Walking dogs: This includes taking dogs on regular walks, ensuring that they get the exercise and stimulation they need. In Home Pet Care: This includes full care of all types of family pets and their homes while the pet parents are not able to be there.

Feeding pets: The Pet Care Professional will be responsible for feeding pets according to their individual needs and schedules.
Keeping the home secure: The Pet Care Professional will be responsible for ensuring that the home is secure while they are on duty, including locking doors and windows as necessary. Excellent communication: The Pet Care Professional will be responsible for maintaining excellent communication with clients, including providing updates and answering any questions they may have.

Requirements:

6+ months commitment: We are looking for a long-term commitment from the successful candidate, with a minimum of 6 months of employment.
Reliability: The Pet Care Professional must be reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic. Physical fitness: The Pet Care Professional must be physically fit and able to handle dogs of any size and energy level.

Excellent communication skills: The Pet Care Professional must possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with clients, management and other team members. .
Responsibility: The Pet Care Professional must be responsible and able to handle tasks with a high level of independence.

Must live in the immediate area.

Be available minimum - all weeks days 10AM - 3PM

Sample Job Duties

Here are some example job duties for a dog walker:

• Conduct daily dog walks for clients, we provide one on one, on leash walks in the clients own neighbourhood
• Follow established dog walking routes and provide safe, engaging and enjoyable walks for the dogs in your care
• Follow all leash laws and clean up after the dogs as needed
• Observe the behavior and physical condition of the dogs and report any concerns to the clients Administer medication or other special care as directed by the client
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all dog walks, including notes on the dogs' behavior and any incidents that occurred during the walk
• Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates on the dogs' walks and address any concerns or questions they may have
• Perform basic grooming tasks as needed, paw cleaning, drying off and possibly brushing
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of the dogs and the safety of the community
• Perform additional tasks as requested by clients, such as bringing in the mail or watering plants.
