Pet Expert (Sales Associate)

If you're friendly, enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in customer service and pet care, you'll enjoy a career at Paulmac's! As a Pet Expert, you will create great experiences by engaging with customers to ensure they find what they are looking for quickly and easily.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Ensure store cleanliness and merchandising standards are maintained at all times
• Provide informed and accurate advice/suggestions to customers and their pets
• Help ensure daily store sales goals are met
• Consistently improve and maintain product and animal care knowledge
• Diligently follow daily operations of store – opening and closing, operation of cash register, inventory tracking and reporting, etc.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and management

Qualifications: * Flexible and reliable – available to work varying shifts, weekends and evenings included

• Exceptional customer service focus
• Desire to grow in the pet care industry
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to think critically and work independently or as a member of a small team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong desire to learn and constantly improve product and animal knowledge
• Previous customer service/retail experience an asset
• Motivated, reliable, and hard-working

This is a full-time or part-time position depending on experience, availability and performance. Wage dependent on experience and qualifications.
