Pet Groomer Job at Pet Valu
We are seeking an Experienced Dog and/or Cat Groomer to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and styling of the cats and dogs that come in for grooming at our store.
Responsibilities:
- Handle grooming cats and dogs along with providing nail trims at anytime (walk-ins)
- Keep records of animals grooming fees, dates, behaviour, physical health concerns, among other updates
- Engage with customers and assist staff in providing grooming, products, and services suggestions/advice (that are in store)
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment for the animals, customers and other staff
- Book grooming appointments or speak to customers on the phone regarding grooming appointments
Qualifications:
- Certified in grooming cats and dogs (will accept new graduates)
- Previous experience in grooming cats and dogs
- Passion to help and treat animals through grooming and interactions with customers
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Your own pet insurance
- Your own supplies (ex. shampoo, etc) and grooming tools
Job Type: Part-time
