Four Rivers Co-op is hiring a FULL-TIME PERMANENT PETROLEUM MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for our Petroleum Division in Vanderhoof, BC.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Petroleum Division Manager you will be responsible for:

· Maintaining Four Rivers Co-op’s high standards for customer service

· Demonstrating the values of Four Rivers Co-op brand values consistently in attitude an action; R*espect, Integrity, Service, and E*xcellence

· Inspecting, monitoring, and maintaining all cardlock and gas bar pump dispensers and equipment

· Measuring fuel delivery and adjusting pump dispensers’ calibration accordingly

· Identifying and reporting any potential maintenance issues promptly and ensuring issues are corrected immediately whenever practical

· Retaining accurate service parts inventories

· Travelling regularly to multiple sites across North Central British Columbia

· Ability to work unsupervised on site

· Comply with all Four Rivers Co-ops policies and procedures including Health and Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, and Asset Protection

Who you are:

· A team member with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

· Mechanically inclined, have a minimum of 2 years experience working on petroleum equipment

· Have a certificate in CPCA Petroleum Mechanic certification or equivalent training.

· Ability to travel the North Central B.C. geographical area year-round

· Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (will be reimbursed mileage for work duties)

· Appropriate computer skills and technical knowledge

· Some heavy lifting maybe required
