What you’ll do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Responsible for coordinating the maintenance of physical security equipment for all existing stores nationally including; Electrical Article Surveillance (EAS), keys, alarms, and scheduling and coordinating armored cars
  • Ordering new and replacement equipment
  • Coordinating with vendors on alarm maintenance, which includes adding and moving alarm sensors and checking functionality of panels
  • Coordinating with vendors for repairs to equipment such as faulty alarm panels, security window panel replacement, keys, and core replacement etc.
  • Using internal systems to manage, track and respond to maintenance requests from stores nationally
  • Performing administrative function within Loss Prevention and providing back up support to other coordinators as required
  • Participating in annual and special projects within the Loss Prevention department as required
  • Monitoring budgets and expenditures related to physical security assets, and reporting issues and status to Technology and Physical Security Manager


What you’ll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a related field
  • Post-secondary education in Business Education or equivalent experience
  • Good project management and organizational skills to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the department needs; ability to track, update and maintain project activities and timelines
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills including analysis of information to effectively resolve issues and implement solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate, and interpret information accurately; bilingualism an asset; able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners / team members; customer service skills including efficiently and effectively responding to inquiries or resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
