Our well established Civil General Contracting firm, in Central Vancouver Island/Nanaimo, is looking for experienced Pipelayers to add to our team. This role is targeted toward someone who works well in a team, is physically fit, works well under pressure, and follows direction. Opportunities are available in full-time roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Minimum 3-5 years experience in underground pipework & road building.
-Ability to read and interpret plans and specification.
-Mathematical ability to calculate grades slopes, etc.
-Understanding of OH&S regulations and a positive approach to adhering to them.
-WHMIS training and certification.
-First Aid training and certification.
-Confined space training and certification.
-Valid driver’s license.
Travel Requirements:
-This opportunity is available for the central island area (Nanaimo to Courtenay BC)
Salary:
-This is an hourly role with overtime. An excellent benefits program is also provided, in addition to RRSP program and up-skilling and training
