JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties:
- Perform distribution feeder analysis and develop mid-term (1-3 year) and long term (10 year)
overall system performance and system loss management, and measured and prudent risk and
capital investment balance.
- Develops solutions to meet distribution automation requirements.
- Conducts and analyzes technical and economic planning studies to identify Distribution system
- Develops plans to optimize distribution system and distribution feeder performance taking into
and long term strategic goals.
- Identifies and initiates system improvement and expansion requirements and secures financial
- Develops responses to regulatory related matters.
- Manages projects of some complexity including planning and managing resources and
- Represents the planning and engineering function in the public consultation process.
- May chair meetings to address engineering problems.
- May assign work and give instructions, advice and technical guidance to other engineers and

- Ability to analyze and resolve challenging and unusual engineering problems with considerable

models and programs for forecasting or scheduling purposes.

Flexible work model role definitions
===========================
Our four role types identify the degree of flexibility an employee could have to work from home
based on the type of work they do. The flexibility for an individual job is up to the manager for
each position and the operational requirements. Employees also have the right to work full-time
from the office if they prefer. All of our roles require at least some in-person time.
IBEW/Field – No option to work from home
Resident – Works primarily (4+ days per week) in the office.
Hybrid – May be able to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Remote – Works from home 4+ days per week
