Potting Foreperson

This is a full time seasonal position located near Georgetown, Ontario, beginning in mid-March with an expected end date in July 2023. The position requires the ability to lead and motivate a crew to work efficiently and safely during the potting of top quality plants. Must be able to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.
Your Accountabilities

• Working with the Potting Supervisor to assure attainment to plan.
• Monitoring of quality and productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, promoting safety awareness through participating in regular meetings and training.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Work well with others in team environment.
• Requires your own transportation arrangements to the Nursery.
• This role will require the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including day, evening, weekends, and holidays as seasonal peaks require.
• This position requires periods of walking and standing, repetitive task as well as the ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination.
• You are punctual and dependable and highly value honesty, integrity, and authenticity
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
