Description:

• Veille constante sur les technologies spécifiques aux véhicules électriques
• Rechercher et comparer différentes approches pour résoudre des problèmes techniques
• Définir l'évolution technologique des systèmes de propulsion
• Bien identifier et répondre aux besoins des différents clients (internes ou externes)
• Définir les exigences techniques et fonctionnelles des systèmes de transmission
• Concevoir les systèmes selon le plan d'évolution technologique
• Préparer des plans de validation pour les systèmes conçus
• Participer aux étapes de prototypage et aux tests de validation
• Superviser et approuver le travail des concepteurs mécaniques
• Maintenez ces connaissances à jour grâce à des lectures techniques, des formations, des webinaires, etc.
• Assurer le bon suivi des livrables dans les outils de gestion
• Remonter immédiatement les problèmes rencontrés lors des projets
• Identifier, contacter et qualifier de nouveaux fournisseurs
• Contribuer à l'effort de son équipe au besoin
• Suivre les processus établis par l'entreprise pour effectuer son travail.

Compétences et qualifications supplémentaires :

• Baccalauréat en génie mécanique
• Membre en règle de l'OIQ
• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire
• Expérience pertinente en développement de produits
• Maîtrise d'un programme CAO (Catia V5 ou V6/3DS)
• Connaissance de la suite MS Office.

• Constantly monitor technologies specific to electric vehicles
• Research and compare different approaches to solving technical problems
• Define the technological evolution of powertrain systems
• Properly identify and meet the needs of different customers (internal or external)
• Define the technical and functional requirements of the powertrain systems
• Design systems according to the technological evolution plan
• Prepare validation plans for the designed systems
• Participate in the prototyping stages and validation tests
• Supervise and approve the work of mechanical designers
• Keep this knowledge up to date through technical readings, training, webinars, etc.
• Ensure proper tracking of deliverables in management tools
• Immediately raise issues encountered during projects
• Identify, contact, and qualify new suppliers
• Contribute to the effort of his team as needed
• Follow the processes established by the company to carry out its work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Member in good standing of the OIQ
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Relevant experience in product development
• Mastery of a CAD program (Catia V5 or V6/3DS)
• Knowledge of the MS Office suite.
