OVERVIEW:

Skillsoft is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Network Engineering Analyst to assist with ensuring a proactive and comprehensive security posture for a customized eLearning solutions in a Hybrid cloud environment.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• Design/Support Network and Security for Skillsoft's SaaS offering used by Fortune 1000 customers
• Research, implement, maintain, and upgrade new technologies and tools
• Enforce network system and environment security standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production application issues
• Create and maintain network and security documentation for Skillsoft operating environments
• Remain abreast of network/security developments and trends
• Evaluate vendors and partners for compliance with standards
• Periodically respond to customer RFPs/RFI's as well attending meetings
• Support 2 FedRAMP Moderate Authorizations
• Work fully remote in a close-knit team

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 7-10 years of experience in a network and security
• Post-secondary education in computer science or a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Expert in network design/architecture both on prem and in the Cloud
• Expert with AWS architecture/services
• Expert with Cisco routing and switching
• Experience with load balancing technologies
• Experience with IPS Technologies
• Experience with Firewall/VPN Technologies
• Experience working with an enterprise SIEM
• Experience with Kubernetes and Istio Service Mesh considered an asset
• Experience with FedRAMP and other compliance programs considered a plus
• Experience with Infrastructure as code considered an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
