This product management role will serve our Digital Commerce Platform, building out products and features that support our customers' ability to buy, try and renew Thomson Reuters products and services to grow their businesses. They will develop a comprehensive and bold product vision, strategy, roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for their product and then execute on the delivery of that strategy and roadmap.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Product Manager – Digital Commerce API & Services, you will:

  • Help us shape the future in our digital transformation. We want a leader with a passion to innovate, and an entrepreneur who likes tackling complex ambiguous problems.

  • Build services and capabilities to ensure customers find the products to meet their needs, and seamlessly try, buy, or renew to help our customers realize their goals.

  • Ensure that the product development team gets the direction and support it needs to be successful.

  • Develop and actively maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the technology themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for customers and stakeholders.

  • Maintain and refine a backlog: create user stories, and acceptance criteria and prioritize all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy

  • Deliver high-value features and capabilities that are differentiated, reusable, and sequenced to ensure the highest value to our users and stakeholders

  • Provide valuable inputs in technical solution design by working with architects and engineers to ensure that capabilities and services can be scaled across different streams and platforms.

  • You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance.

  • Partner with engineering, product, infrastructure, security, and other cross-functional partners to prioritize work based on impact and drive strong execution

About You

You are fit for the role of Product Manager – Digital Commerce API & Services, if your background includes:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a product manager of a B2B or B2C digital platform shipping multiple products and features and experience in an Agile-Scrum environment, with a proven understanding of the development life cycle

  • Experience with end-to-end software product delivery, cultivating strong working relationships, and driving collaboration across technical and business teams

  • Experience with large-scale e-commerce platforms including systems involving complex business logic is a plus

  • Proven ability to take initiative within a matrix organization to build strong, productive relationships based on excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve bold strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment and able to flex between multiple workstreams

  • Ability to apply knowledge of how a product is designed, built, deployed, and maintained in an enterprise environment; you transparently manage risk by collaborating with a team, keeping stakeholders informed, and unpacking your principles and approach

  • A track record of delivering high-impact iterative products, capabilities, and services that solve big customer problems, delivered on time and on budget

  • Ability to articulate clear and concise specifications for new features and services with a strong affinity towards the developer community.

  • A strong understanding of the ecommerce technical landscape (systems, tools, APIs and technology stack) at a high level that developers use to bring products to market

  • Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles with large teams to achieve a common goal
