Production and Logistics Supervisor Job at Drake International Inc
We are seeking an experienced production and logistics supervisor to coordinate the fulfillment of customer and stock orders through design and execution of a production schedule, procurement plan, resource planning and stocking plan that ensures on time and in full delivery of orders as well as creating ample stock for future requirements. The successful candidate will cover the Winnipeg and Regina locations.
Who you are:

You have a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.

You have 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated abilities to coach, mentor, motivate, and lead teams.
*
You understand how the production process connects with the logistics process of providing the raw materials to the factory and the delivery to the customer.
*
You have advanced skills in Microsoft office tools and ERP systems for inventory management, production scheduling, and logistics operations.
*
You have managed both internal and external stakeholders in the production and logistics environment.
*
You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and quality output.
*
You have experience managing teams and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
*
You have managed a production, operations and logistics set up in a multi-site environment.
*
You have knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
What you do
*
Create and execute production plans directed at successful fulfillment of customer orders and stock requirements.
*
Direct production processes with a focus on efficiency and deadlines.
*
Allocate labor to tasks as required in collaboration with Production Lead/Planner.
*
Oversee Warehouse, shipping, and receiving Operations.
*
Collaborate with and advise Procurement staff on material needs for plant activities.
*
Support and promote GMP, Quality Initiatives, and Safety Policies and Procedures.
*
Train and develop Production & Warehouse staff, contribute to succession planning.
*
Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, CI).
*
Manage and evaluate equipment and resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
*
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.
