Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing Operations, the Production Technician partners with the Manufacturing Operations group and internal clients to drive forward our purpose of providing Peace of Mind to our clients and our employees. An independent self starter who is capable of taking initiative and being efficient. A desire to move up and grow through the company with quick learning abilities and strong computer skills. Someone who is adaptable to different situations and can work well under pressure and is reliably able to provide desirable results.


The Role

The role of the Production Technician will be responsible for assistance in the assembly of traffic supplies and equipment.


What you will do:

  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.
  • Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
  • Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
  • Determine work assignments and procedures.
  • Maintain production equipment and machinery.
  • Operate machinery and heavy equipment, such as forklifts.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Efficient worker, self starter, and fast learner
  • Proficient in different computer programs and software
  • High school diploma
  • Capable of easily moving around
  • Comfort in sitting for long periods of time
  • Capable of repetitive lifting of heavy items
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment
  • Desires to grow with the company
