Job Description – Production Floater
Copernicus Educational Products develops and manufactures a comprehensive range of classroom solutions designed to make teaching a little easier. We require an energetic, self-starting, team oriented individual to join our manufacturing team. This person must be flexible and adaptable to work in various departments within “The Shop”, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Meet production targets and deadlines
- Product assembly
- Pick, prepare and load orders for shipping
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification and/or experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Previous experience in maintenance control
- Knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
