Job Description
To provide general labour for work in the Steelmaking areas to train in all Steelmaking lines of progression.
- Assists in all Lines of Progression as required
- Keep work areas clean
- Observes all Safety Rules
- Tools and equipment used: Pry bars, scrapers, hand cutting torches, wheelbarrow, shovel, broom, paint
Required
- Education - Completed High school Diploma or GED
- Experience - 1 - 3 years of Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing
- Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Must have good attendance and work ethic
- Must be physically able to perform in a labour intensive environment
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating continental shifts. Shifts would be from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am on a weekly rotation.
