We are hiring Production Line Supervisor/Lead Hand for one of our clients This role will be a key asset in the future growth of company. As Production Line Supervisor/Lead Hand, the primary responsibility is to efficiently manage assembly tasks ensuring all projects are meeting deadlines and that all quality specifications are met. You will also be responsible for ensuring working area is kept clean and organized.

Job Duties:

· Supervise, mentor, motivate and coach production employees while adhering to company expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and targets.

· Troubleshoot production issues including machine set-up, clean up molds and some machine maintenance.

· Ensure that shift details and reports are maintained accurately including scrap, downtime, productivity, and other resources to ensure metrics are up to date.

· Working with internal departments, support and provide training to employees including safety talks, quality notifications, and work instructions.

· Provide input to senior management.

· Ensure all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements are strictly followed including company policies and standards.

· Work overtime as required to cover production requirements.

· Must be willing to learn from the bottom for training program.

· Other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

• A proven ability to work well within a team-based work environment, prioritizing plans of action to accomplish objectives
• Proficiency in the English language
• Excellent interpersonal communications with the ability to influence at all levels of the
• organization.
• Organized and adaptable to change.
• Desire for future growth and responsibilities.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Completion of a College program in operations management, engineering or similar.
• A minimum of 2 years as a Lead Hand or Supervisor in a manufacturing setting. Polyurethane foam manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Intermediate computer skills Microsoft Office.

Shift Timings: 7:00Am -3.30Pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime pay
