About the Role:

Only 30 minutes away from Cambridge, this opportunity is based in Brantford, Ontario (1 Ferrero Blvd.) and includes a fixed term contract position with the possibility of permanent hire for the following shift rotations:

Weekly 8 hour rotating shifts between days and afternoons

• Afternoon shift premium: $0.65/hr
• Operator premium: $2.10/hr

8 hour straight night shift from Sunday to Thursday

• Night shift premium: $0.85/hr
• Operator premium: $2.10/hr

12 hour shift rotating between days and nights every 2 weeks and working every other weekend

• Weekend premium: $4.0/hr
• Night shift premium: $1.65/hr
• Operator premium: $2.10/hr

This is a NOC C level position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maximize output of packaging machine by minimizing downtime and waste
• Ensure machine and floors are free from debris and product
• Identify machine issues and ensure they are resolved efficiently
• Ensure product is packaged according to company quality standards
• Ensure machine is locked out according to company safety policies and procedures as required
• Ensure Critical Control Points are checks are completed
• Monitor equipment on a regular basis
• Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are practiced and maintained
• Cleaning and sanitizing areas and equipment during changeovers

• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
