Summary:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Labourer is responsible for operating hand and power tools, complete necessary paperwork, work with forming equipment and read and interpret blueprints.

Job Duties

· Operation of hand and power tools

· Completion of work orders and other paperwork

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

· Minimum high school diploma or recognized equivalent education is preferred

· Related trade certificate from a recognized post-secondary institute is beneficial

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints

· Ability to learn forming equipment

· Combinations of education and experience will be considered

· 0-2 years’ experience

· Ability to work well under pressure

· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

· Strong attention to detail

· Mechanical aptitude

Work Conditions

· Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.

· Overtime as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

  • Regina, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
