This competition will be used to fill multiple clerical positions across the department of Manitoba Economic Development, Investment and Trade in various locations including Dauhpin, Morden and Swan River. Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Must have a valid Manitoba Driver's license
  • Must have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba

Qualifications:
Essential:

  • Experience performing administrative and/or clerical duties in an office environment
  • Experience working with the public in a customer service oriented environment, providing service to a diverse clientele
  • Experience performing accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and/or creating financial reports
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to provide information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare, edit and format correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and effectively manage deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and make sound decisions
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative

Desiered:
  • Experience working with SAP or an equivalent software

Duties:
The Program Support Clerk (PSC) provides program, financial and administrative support service. The PSC provides customer service to diverse clientele and performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties including assessing, processing and completing client applications; receiving documents, processing acounts payable, processing client files, time keeping, creating purchase orders, requests for service, maintaining inventory and archiving lists.
