Skwlax Resource Management Ltd. is currently seeking a full time, permanent Project Administrator based out of our offices in Chase, British Columbia.

Key Job Duties:

  • Provide support to Project Managers in planning, coordinating, scheduling and assisting with project quality controls
  • Manage changes to project scope, timeline, and budget
  • Work effectively and competently with people at all levels in the organization
  • Perform general administrative and recordkeeping functions including the review and distribution of documentation; preparation of correspondence and meeting minutes, tracking of project milestones, maintenance of files, logs, drawings, and specifications
  • Support the (sub) contract management process: tender and award work or material supply; review and process invoices and progress claims, and assist with the review of documents and inquiries
  • Assist with preparing progress invoicing and progress status reports
  • Ensure all technical aspects of the work conform to all applicable codes and standards
  • Facilitate the tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines; assistance with the creation of the project schedule; inputs and updates schedule throughout the project and reviews with Project Manager
  • Coordinate the request for information (RFI) process, ensures RFIs are distributed to affected trades and maintain RFI logs and binders
  • Prepare purchase requisitions for approval and assist with procurement of materials and equipment
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly labour, equipment, material, and sub trade costs. Monitor cost accruals and review with the Project Manager on a regular basis
  • Identify critical path and keep abreast of manpower loading and materials deliveries
  • Assist with the drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions, and change order
  • Willingness to contribute actively in team activities, sharing experiences and ideas

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in Post-Secondary training pertaining to construction background
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Previous experience working with First Nations an asset.
  • Ability to maintain Company integrity through confidentiality and discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
