The Adelin Properties team is small but mighty, and we need your voice at the table! We are seeking the ideal person to take on the newly created role of PROPERTY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR. Our team currently manages over 400,000 square feet of commercial and industrial space in the NB and NS. Adelin is growing and in 2023, we are undertaking the construction of a brand new 40,000sf building and investing in increasing the sustainability of our portfolio.

Job Summary

We are seeking the ideal person to take on the newly created role of PROPERTY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR. You will be responsible for identifying sustainability and property improvement projects, ensuring that our building construction projects remain on track, and realizing the annual operational plan of our property portfolio.

(Varies depending on education and experience)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and carry out (in partnership with the building maintenance associate), follow-ups on maintenance, renovation and construction projects, liaising between the client and the contractors for the required works
  • Manage contractor performance
  • Coordinate between the contractor and client to adhere to agreed upon guidelines and timelines
  • Monitor operating budgets by working with the property manager and the accountant.
  • Plan preventive maintenance work
  • Maintain and improve the portfolio’s “BOMA Best” standing by implementing sustainability processes

Qualifications/Skills:

  • College diploma from a related field, or 2 + years’ experience in project coordination and building operations preferred
  • Ability to work well in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Very responsive and reliable
  • Ability to solve problems using facts with a good sense of reasoning
  • Autonomous with a high degree of initiative and creativity
  • Motivated, hardworking and possess initiative
  • Good organization and supervisory skills
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Professional in all forms of communication such as emails, phone calls, video calls and SMS
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluent English written and verbal skills required, French language skills an asset
