Personal Support Worker - Fenelon Falls Based

$19.67 + $3.00 wage enhancement & Paid Mileage

1 Part Time – File #22-P-26

This position will be based out of the 70 Murray St. Fenelon Falls Office with regular travel throughout the Fenelon Falls area. Position will involve work in the Personal Support Services program areas
(Supportive Housing, In-Home Respite, and Home At Last). All positions must be able to work shifts in the day, evening and every other weekend. Fenelon Falls PSW’s are unionized staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, homemaking and security checks to Personal Support Services clients as assigned
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Provide general housekeeping and meal preparation
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain professional boundaries
• Participate in after hours on-call

Qualifications:

Required:

• Personal Support Worker Certificate;
• Current First Aid / CPR certification;
• Access to a reliable vehicle for work and be an insured, licensed driver in Ontario;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proven judgement and problem solving skills; and
• Able to work collaboratively as part of an effective team

Assets:

• Experience in client care
• Experience working with seniors and adults with special needs;
