THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION AND THERE IS NO MONETARY COMPENSATION LINKED.

We are looking for undergraduate and graduate students from software development backgrounds who would like to contribute and give back to the community by building business improvement processes.

Compensation: There is no monetary compensation. This is a volunteer position and a Letter of Recommendation would be provided upon request.

What We are Looking For (required):

  • Minimum Qualification: Pusrsing Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Write effective, scalable code
  • Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
  • Integrate user-facing elements into applications
  • Test and debug programs
  • Improve functionality of existing systems
  • Implement security and data protection solutions
  • Assess and prioritize feature requests
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of computer software including MS Suite
  • Flexibility, cooperation, and a team player
  • Excellent organizational skills, judgment, tact, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A non-judgmental and positive attitude

Asset qualifications (nice to have):

  • Experience working in on python projects
  • Ability to work with electronic medical records (EMR system)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Salary: $0.01 per year

  • Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
We have set in place many Covid-19 protocols to keep staff and patients safe. We have reduced patient traffic in the clinic. We are conducting the vast majority of our appointments virtually. In-person patients are screened for COVID symptoms or exposure.
