Starting Wage: $18.00-$21.00

· Quality Technician Responsibilities:

· Perform regular process and product audits

· Prepare and control QMS documentation (instructions, alerts, procedures, etc.)

· Analyze and report data

· Maintain communication boards/tools

· Assist in the training and educating of team members Document and communicate all quality related issues

· Attend production meetings

· Any other duties assigned by management

· Ability to interpret control plans and PFMEA for new and current programs

· Detect and report, for further action, production and/or component issues pertinent to production safety, performance, craftsmanship, and dependability.

· Participate in cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues and recommend solutions Help ensure new and modified products are successfully introduced into production

· Track and resolve open issues pertaining to new product launches.

· Perform Quality-Engineering activities for internal issues. (e.g., problem solving, process audits, internal auditing, etc.).

· Requirements

· 2-3 years Quality experience, preferably in a automotive manufacturing environment

· Experience with common manufacturing philosophies/tools (Lean, 5S, 8D, SPC, PPAP, PFMEA)

· IATF 16949 Internal auditor certification preferred

· Experience with inspection equipment and tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong written/verbal communication and Microsoft Office skills

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques

· Interest in developing skills through both internal and external training

· Leadership capability, Strong work ethic, professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations

· Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
