Receptionist Job at House Of Hair
House of Hair is a extremely busy hair salon located in Brampton. We are looking for a receptionist to join our team. The receptionist’s role is to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, to deliver prompt and courteous service and demonstrate the utmost professionalism as the front-line staff within the salon. They will be responsible for the front desk and management of the salon's administrative duties. This position requires an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and main tasks:
- Greeting and checking in customers
- Handling the appointment bookings
- Answering phone calls from multi-telephone line system
- Handling cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Delivering a proactive, personalized service experience to customers
- Answering customer questions and resolving issues as necessary
- Prepare schedules and client chart
- Log client data
- Administrative support to the salon
- Any other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a flexible schedule
- Fluent in English (Excellent oral communication)
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Be resourceful and highly constructive in dealing with new situations
- Have great communication and customer service skills
- Be able to work well without supervision
- Solid organization and interpersonal abilities
- Have basic computer skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and internet searches is required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
