Rome Logistics Group is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing team.

Reporting to Management, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for meeting our high skilled recruitment needs for a variety of positions throughout the company which include Operations, Sales, Administration, Customer Service, Information and Technology and Management level roles.


This is an
in-office position, Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage job postings through our applicant tracking system. This includes using social media for promotion and reach throughout Southwestern Ontario
  • Source and screen resumes on our internal platform, Indeed, LinkedIn and other resources to find candidates who are potential matches for current and future opportunities with the goal to attract, engage, market, employ and advance candidates
  • Conduct phone screens and in person interviews with candidates for various positions, with the ability to appropriately reflect the candidacy’s potential fit within the Rome Group to management and/or team leads for further screening and possible Employment Offers
  • Build a strong candidate pipeline through job fairs, networking events and digital outreach programs
  • Grow relationships with candidates, hiring managers and leadership teams
  • Complete candidate references, assessments, and background checks
  • Drive employee satisfaction by matching top talent to great work opportunities and maintain loyalty
  • Maintain daily tracking spreadsheets to reflect current candidacy numbers
  • Develop month end reports for management allowing them to understand and educate others on the dynamics of the local market, labor and workforce management and individual Rome location needs


You Have:

  • University or college degree/diploma preferred and/or equivalent experience
  • A self-starter mentality who is personable and enjoys connecting with people
  • A creative and resourceful mentality for meeting and exceeding deadlines and/or targets
  • A positive and professional attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • A professional demeanor during initial phone calls and meetings with applicants and potential candidates
  • Although the position is responsible for internal recruiting, the potential candidate will have prior experience as a third-party recruiter and/or working in consultative selling
