At the same time, we’ve helped families to have more of a relationship with their loved ones, as we take on the responsibilities. This means we will follow the highest standards of Care when taking care of mom and dad for you.

What We Expect From You

Your role will be to go into your client’s home and provide them with nursing support to assist them to stay at home. We are here to provide complete care by advocating for our client’s needs and ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities & Primary Duties

  • Develop care plans to best meet your clients needs
  • Follow doctors orders and ensure they are up to date
  • Perform nursing skills such as IV therapy, insulin injections, wound care
  • Communicate with the care team to ensure all client needs are met
  • Provide cognitive, social and/or emotional support to the client
  • Provide companionship and conversation

Who Are You?

  • Passionate about community health/home support
  • Able to work independently
  • A solid knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of community healthcare and the delivery of nursing interventions
  • Demonstrated ability to follow English written and verbal instructions as related to client care
  • Able to travel locally from assignment to assignment

Qualifications and Skills

  • Nursing Diploma/Degree
  • In good standing with the CNO
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Be available to work every other weekend
  • First Aid & CPR certificate
  • RNAO/RPNAO an asset

Salary: $29.00 per hour
